Career

• Studied law at the University of Heidelberg, specializing in foreign public law and international law at the Max Planck Institute
• 1982 graduation with the Second State Examination in Law and admission to the bar
• 1982-1987: Attorney in Mannheim
• 1988-1997: Lawyer and partner in Heidelberg, co-founder of a medium-sized business law firm
• 1998-2002: Attorney and partner in Heidelberg after merger with a supra-regional commercial law firm with eight offices in Germany
• 1998-2002: Board member of the Association of European Lawyers an association of European law firms.
• 1998-2004: Real estate project management in Denver, Colorado USA
• 2005-2014: Attorney and partner of a medium-sized commercial law firm in Frankfurt am Main, Germany
• 2014-today: attorney and name partner of Maiss Rechtsanwalte PartG with offices in Frankfurt and Darmstadt
• Since 2016: founding and board member of the GBL Alliance ( Global Business Lawyers) a global association of business law firms.
• Since 2018: Vice President of the global network of law firms GBL Alliance Global Business Lawyers.
• Since 2020: Licensed Partner of Becker & CO
